Exciting news for the Thompsonville community! The Thompsonville Area Revitalization Project (TARP) received a $50,000 grant from The Oleson Foundation, bringing their vision for improved outdoor spaces in Thompsonville a step closer to reality.
This generous contribution will go towards enhancing the Thompsonville Junction Trailhead, Visitor’s Center, and the George W. Sharp Campground. The Oleson Foundation, a strong supporter of Northwestern Lower Michigan communities, aims to improve residents’ lives through various initiatives. Their focus aligns perfectly with TARP’s goals of developing recreational spaces and promoting Thompsonville’s natural beauty.
Reaching for the Finish Line
With this grant, TARP has secured $632,550 towards their $972,270 project budget. The team is actively seeking additional grants and donations to bridge the remaining gap and bring their vision to life.
