Rotary Charities of Traverse City recently announced the recipients of their Fall 2024 Grant Awards, totaling $350,000. We are thrilled to share that the Thompsonville Area Revitalization Project has been awarded a $50,000 grant!
This generous support comes from Rotary Charities’ “Assets for Thriving Communities” program, which supports initiatives that develop, strengthen or build community assets that are available to all, or make an existing asset more widely available.
With this grant, we will be making significant progress on the new Thompsonville Junction Trailhead and an ADA-compliant Visitor’s Pavilion. Importantly, this grant brings us to 80% of the projected funds needed to begin construction.
