We’re thrilled to announce that the Thompsonville Area Revitalization Project (TARP) has been selected as a recipient of the Impact100 Traverse City grant! This incredible award of $116,000 will significantly boost our efforts to transform the Thompsonville community.

Key Project Highlights:

  • Bicycle Trailhead: Expanding outdoor recreational opportunities for residents and visitors.
  • ADA-Compliant Visitor’s Pavilion: Creating a welcoming and accessible gathering space.
  • Campground: Offering camping experiences and supporting local tourism.

TARP envisions this project as a catalyst for positive change in Thompsonville. By developing a vibrant trailhead and pavilion, we aim to:

  • Attract Outdoor Enthusiasts: Boost local tourism and economic activity.
  • Enhance Community Amenities: Provide a welcoming space for residents and visitors.
  • Preserve Local History: Honor Thompsonville’s heritage and create a lasting legacy.
